Pray

Sign up for our ministry newsletters to stay update to date on God’s work through ministry so you can be praying with us and for us.

Every day, God is using our ministry to reach the college campus for Christ, and we need your prayers to help strengthen and support our steps of faith in the classroom, at the dining halls, on the field, and wherever God calls us.

Give

We desire to see God glorified in the athletic community at Brown and beyond. And so we trust Him for the resources to match our vision of seeing every student, coach, and professor know someone who truly follows Jesus.

Your financial investment will go directly towards our ministry efforts.

(More details below)

Engage

There several ways you can invest your time and talent to advance our mission, such as networking with our students after they graduate, mentoring students during their college career (and perhaps afterwards), and coming back to campus to be a guest speaker.

Let us know if you’re want to ‘get in the game’ with us—-we’d love your help!

VISION

The purpose is clear: make disciples of Jesus who make disciples.

Translating that to our campus context…

Our vision is to see 20% of the athletic population passionately pursuing Christ and helping others to do the same.

Specifically, this means our movement would have about 200 students and 35 coaches actively involved.

To effectively steward and shepherd this movement, we believe we would need to have at least 7 full-time staff and 3 interns every year.

To effectively engage and equip these students and coaches, we’ll need the scholarships for training conferences and missions trips, as well as funding for ministry materials and outreaches.

INVEST

We’re trusting God for the resources to match our vision.

In order to accomplish the mission and vision, every year we would expect…

  • 150 students to attend the AIA Winter Conference ($100/student)

  • 40 students to attend the Ultimate Training Camp ($1,000/student)

  • 10 students to attend a Summer Missions Trip ($1,000/student)

  • 100 students to attend the Executive & Entrepreneurship Leadership Forum ($25/student)

  • 200 students to attend our weekly gatherings of food, friends, faith ($250/week)

  • 10 Staff and Interns attending leadership training conferences ($1,000/staff)

Additionally, we’ll have expenses for web design and development, ministry materials, outreach events, and promotional things.

In short, we anticipate the yearly budget to be over $100k, all of which goes directly towards the ministry operating cost and not the full-time staff (they have their personal Ministry Partner Team that covers their salary and expenses).

CHALLENGE

Every Class Year commits to a total of $500/month.

We envision every alumni in every class year for the past 2 decades to each give generously to God’s work through our ministry.

Together, by God’s grace, we would see a growing remnant of faithful believers continuing the good work God started for the next 2 decades and beyond.

Would you prayerfully consider giving (the equivalent of) a monthly amount of $50, $100, $250, or however God may lead, in order to help us reach this next generation for the glory of God?

Additionally, AIA is able to accept gifts via stocks, assets, and other non-cash methods. Contact us if you’re interested in pursuing this option.

RESULTS

God’s grace and with the resources provided by your faithful prayers and support, we expect to see the gospel proclaimed to the entire campus with many new believers joining our movement of disciples making disciples.

Gospel Proclaimed x1,000

Everyone of the 900+ varsity athletes and dozens of coaches every year is given a clear, winsome presentation and demonstration of the gospel and offered an invitation to begin a relationship with God through the person, works, and words of Jesus Christ.

Disciples Made x 250

Every sports team has disciples of Jesus who are actively sharing their faith while living out a growing, vibrant relationship with God. What’s more, we expect many of these disciples will commit to full-time ministry with AIA and other Christian missions organizations, as well as churches.

Missionaries Sent x 150 … x 150 x 150

We expect most of these disciples who are discipling others to graduate on mission for the glory of God wherever God calls them. With most people having a meaningful relationship with around 150 people, that means potentially millions more people will have direct access to follower of Jesus and thus have the opportunity to hear, see, and respond to the gospel.
